unexpired term. From time to time the Secretary of
Economic and Community Development, with the approval of
the Governor, shall designate one member of the
Commission as chairman, who shall hold such office at the
pleasure of the Secretary of Economic and Community
Development.

266M.

(d) A vacancy in the office of a member, other
than by expiration, shall be filled in like manner as an
original appointment, but only for the remainder of the
term of the retiring member. Members may be removed by
the Governor for cause. The Authority shall elect one
of its members as chairman, one as vice-chairman, one as
treasurer, and shall employ a manager, who shall be
secretary. The secretary and treasurer shall, upon
entering the performance of their duties, be covered by a
surety bond in accordance with the provisions of §§ 46
through 50 of Article 78A of this Code. Three (3)
members of the Authority shall constitute a quorum, but
in no case shall any action taken by the Authority be
taken by an affirmative vote of less than three (3)
members. No vacancy in the membership of the Authority
or disqualification of a member under § 266AA hereof
impairs the right of the quorum to exercise all rights
and perform all the duties of the Authority, All
members of the Authority shall be reimbursed for their
(actual] expenses incurred in the performance of their
duties IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS.

266EE-5.

(a) In carrying out his duties under this subheading,
the Secretary shall have the assistance of an Advisory
Commission on Industrialized Building and Mobile Homes,
which is hereby created. Members of the Advisory
Commission shall be appointed by the Secretary and shall
serve without compensation BUT SHALL BE REIMBURSED FOR
EXPENSES INCURRED WHILE ENGAGED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF
THEIR DUTIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS. Members appointed shall be broadly
representative of the industries and professions involved
in the development and construction of industrialized
buildings and mobile homes and shall also include
representatives from building code enforcement agencies,
architectural and engineering associations, building
construction trades, the contracting and manufacturing
industries, legislative bodies of local government, the
financial industry and the general public.
