be paid for [actual] expenses incurred in the performance
of his duties under this subtitle IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS. The Board shall meet at
such places as specified by call of the chairman or the
Governor.

(d) The Board shall have the following duties and
responsibilities:
(6) Members shall not receive compensation
for serving on the Board, but shall be reimbursed IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS, for all
necessary expenses incurred in carrying out the
provisions of this subtitle.

(d) Each member of the Board who is not a public
employee in another capacity shall receive a per diem
compensation, the amount of which to be determined by the
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene for the time spent
in the performance of his official duties, and he shall
be reimbursed , IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS, for [all] official travel and incidental
expenses incurred in carrying out such duties.

(b) The Commission on Kidney Disease, hereinafter
referred to as the Commission, shall be composed of
twelve members. The members shall be appointed by the
Governor, six at his discretion and six from nominations
as provided below. Each member shall serve a term of
four years and until his successor is appointed and
qualified, except that in the initial appointments three
members shall serve for one year, three for two years,
three for three years, and three for four years and until
their successors are appointed and qualified. No member
shall be appointed to more than two consecutive four year
terms. The members shall without compensation but shall
be reimbursed, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS, for expenses incurred in carrying out their
responsibilities as members of the Commission.

(b) The Commission on Hereditary Disorders,
hereinafter referred to as the Commission, shall be
composed of eleven members. The members shall be
appointed as provided below. Each member shall serve a
term of four years and until his successor is appointed
and qualified, except that in the initial appointments
