(B) IF SUCH EMPLOYEES ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE

PROVISIONS OF THE FEDERAL FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT BUT

ARE SUBJECT TO THE MARYLAND WAGE AND HOUR LAM, THE

MINIMUM WAGE SHALL BE THE HIGHEST MINIMUM WAGE SET FORTH

IN THE MINIMUM WAGE SECTION OF THE FEDERAL FAIR LABOR
STANDARDS ACT (29 U.S.C. 201-219).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws — Penalties

FOR the purpose of providing that fraud in securing or
using certain special plates for the handicapped
[[or utilizing a certain parking privilege]] , or
ownership of a vehicle bearing certain plates it is
not entitled to bear is a misdemeanor; changing the
penalty for these violations by providing a penalty
as prescribed tinder subtitle 17 [[for these
violations]]; and changing the penalty for
fraudulent application for or use of a special
identification card.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 66 1/2 — Vehicle Laws

Sections 3-607 (c) and (d) , 6-601(f) and 17-101 (b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 3-607 (c) and (d), 6-601(f) and
17-101(b) of Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and
1974 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
