EACH STAMP. THE BALANCE OF THE FEE SHALL BE PAID OVER AND

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Highway
Administration to promulgate rules and regulations
governing the control and use of rest areas, scenic
overlooks, roadside picnic areas and other public
use areas within interstate or other state highway
rights—of—way and correcting language.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 237 of Article 89B - State Roads,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 89B — State Roads

(A) The State [Roads Commission is hereby
authorized to] HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION MAY acquire strips
