FOR the purpose of consolidating in one section all of
the procedures for administrative hearings provided
in various sections and subtitles of the Vehicle
Laws; providing for notice of a hearing whenever
certain licenses or privileges may be suspended or
revoked; providing the time for hearings and
decisions; specifying the type of notice and the
procedures to be followed at the hearing and
providing for an appeal from the hearing; repealing
obsolete sections and amending other sections to
make a cross—reference to the new hearing procedure;
correcting language; and generally relating to
administrative hearings by the Motor Vehicle
Administration.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

added to Article 66 1/2 — Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1974
Supplement) to read as follows:
