SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
5.2(P)(1) of Chapter 179 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1972, be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(1) [Purchase of] Poplar Hill Mansion, Salisbury
-[, contingent upon the community assuming responsibility
for all costs of major alterations, repairs and
operations] RESTORATION AND RENOVATION OF POPLAR HILL
MANSION, SALISBURY, AND THE PURCHASE OF LAND ADJOINING
POPLAR HILL MANSION, SALISBURY, CONTINGENT UPON THE
COMMUNITY ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL COSTS OF
REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE, AND OPERATIONS AND FOR ALL COSTS OF
MAJOR ALTERATIONS NOT PROVIDED FOR BY THIS
APPROPRIATION......................................78,000

SECTION [[2]] 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
this Act shall take effect July 1, 1975.

Dorchester County

FOR the purpose of granting the County Commissioner of
Dorchester County the authority to prevent the
development of threats to certain public
improvements and to undertake corrective work and to
assess the costs thereof against certain properties
upon compliance with certain procedural
requirements; and providing for an appeal therefrom.
