AN ACT concerning

General Construction Loan of 1974 — Robert

Long Property and General Construction Loan

of 1972 - Poplar Hill Mansion

FOR the purpose of permitting the acquisition,
restoration and preparation for use of the Robert
Long property as originally provided: and permitting
funds appropriated in the General Construction Loan
of 1972 for purchase of Poplar Hill Mansion,
Salisbury, by the Maryland Historical Trust, to be
used for restoration and renovation of the mansion
and the purchase of the adjoining land and amending
a certain requirement.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Chapter 289 of the Acts of the General Assembly

of 1974

Section 5.2(R)(3)(b)

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,
Chapter 179 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1972
Section 5.2(P)(1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 5.2(R)(3)(b) of Chapter 289 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1974, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

5.2(R).

(3) (b) Grant to the City of Baltimore for the
acquisition, restoration and preparation for use of the
following properties within the Fell's Point National
Historic District, contingent upon agreement by the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to guarantee the cost of
operating and maintaining the property after completion
of the restoration:

1600 Shakespeare Street

810 AND 812 South Ann Street, ROBERT LONG PROPERTY
