AN ACT concerning

Garrett County — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of repealing certain laws concerning
hours of sale for alcoholic beverages in Garrett
County and enacting certain provisions increasing
the permitted hours of sale of certain alcoholic
beverages on certain days in that county.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 98A of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

In Garrett County notwithstanding any other
provisions of this subtitle, the hours during which sales
of any alcoholic beverages may be made under any class of
license issued under this article on any weekday are from
6 o'clock a.m. daily to 2 o'clock a.m. on the following
day. It is unlawful for any person to sell or for any
person to consume any alcoholic beverages on any premises
