That this Act shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

City of Baltimore — General Powers

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore to apply to an equity court in
Baltimore City for the appointment of a receiver for
real property within the City which is owned by a
nonresident of the State and is in violation of the
City's building or housing codes; providing for
notification to the nonresident owner; and stating
responsibilities of the receiver, application of
funds, and attachment of lien.

BY adding to

Article IT — General Powers
Subsection (52)
Charter of Baltimore City
(1964 Revision, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Subsection (52) be and it is hereby
added to Article II — General Powers, of the Charter of
Baltimore City (1964 Revision, as amended) to read as
follows:
