this Act shall take effect June 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Program Open Space — Allocations
for Fiscal Tear 1976

FOR the purpose of designating Program Open Space
projects which are to be funded under the Outdoor
Recreation Land Loan of 1969 during the fiscal year
of 1976; resolving any possible doubts about the
validity and effectiveness of such designation which
might arise from a conclusion that such designation
is an appropriation of State debt requiring in the
same measure a provision for collection of an annual
tax or taxes to provide for principal and interest
payments on that debt; [[providing for use of
federal Land and Water Conservation Funds by the
Department of Natural Resources and local governing
bodies to supplement State natural resources land
acquisition and development programs:]] increasing
the total amount of funds which the State of
Maryland is authorized to borrow under the Outdoor
Recreation Land Loan Act of 1969 for the purposes of
Program Open Space; and relating generally to the
provisions of the Outdoor Recreation Land Loan of
1969.
