AN ACT concerning

Medical Scholarships and Residencies

[[FOR the purpose of increasing the amount of an
individual scholarship awarded under the program of
scholarships to the School of Medicine of the
University of Maryland; changing the conditions of
eligibility for receiving such scholarships;]]

FOR the purpose of changing the conditions of eligibility
for receiving scholarships awarded under the program
of scholarships to the School of Medicine of the
University of Maryland; defining State health
service; clarifying language; creating a Maryland
Family Practice Residency Program to provide
financial support for residents training in
accredited family practice residency programs in
Maryland; establishing conditions of eligibility for
receiving such support; and relating generally to
the Medical Scholarship Program and the Maryland
Family Practice Residency Program.
