SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
1โ€”603(b) of Article โ€” Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

(b) In each of the districts provided for in ยง
1โ€”602 of this article, there shall be the following
number of associate judges of the District Court:

(1)  District 1โ€”22

(2)  District 2โ€”4

(3)  District 3โ€”6, two to be appointed from Cecil
County

(4)  District 4โ€”3

(5)  District 5โ€”8

(6)  District 6โ€”[8] 6
