AN ACT concerning

Howard County — Alcoholic Beverage Sales on Election Days

FOR the purpose of [[providing that certain provisions
generally relating to the sale of alcoholic
beverages on election days have no affect]]
permitting the holder of any alcoholic beverage
license to exercise all the privileges conferred by
the license on any election day in Howard County.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 79 and 80 of Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

79.

(A)       EXCEPT IN HOWARD COUNTY, [The] THE hours during
which alcoholic beverages may be sold or delivered to
retail license holders by holders of manufacturers'
licenses shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock
midnight, on every day except Sundays and election days.

(B)      IN HOWARD COUNTY THE HOURS DURING WHICH
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD OR DELIVERED TO RETAIL
LICENSE HOLDERS BY HOLDERS OF MANUFACTURERS' LICENSES
SHALL BE FROM 6 O'CLOCK A.M. TO 12 O'CLOCK MIDNIGHT, ON
EVERY DAY EXCEPT SUNDAYS.
