AN ACT concerning
Talbot County — Powers of Commissioners
FOR the purpose of repealing certain provisions generally
relating to the powers of the Talbot County
Commissioners.

Article 25 — County Commissioners
Section 10G
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1973 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 10G of Article 25 — County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed:
Article 25 — County Commissioners

(a) The County Commissioners of Talbot County, in
addition to, but not in substitution for, the powers
which may have been or may hereafter be granted them,
may: (1) determine the salary and expenses of the Talbot
County State's Attorney and his assistant; (2) determine
the necessary costs and expenses related to the efficient
performance of the Talbot County State's Attorney's
office; (3) determine the compensation and expenses of
the Talbot County supervisors of elections board; (4)
regulate the possession and maintenance of dogs and set
dog license fees; (5) determine both the salary of the
Talbot County Sheriff and the necessary costs and
expenses for the efficient operation of his office; and
(6) determine the salary and expenses of the judges of
the Talbot County Orphans' Court.
(b) Unless and until superseded by action of the
County Commissioners under this section, all public
general and public local laws regulatinq the matters
