in connection with processing applications, ADMINISTERING
EXAMINATIONS (BOTH ORAL AND WRITTEN), ISSUING INITIAL AND
RENEWAL CERTIFICATES, EXECUTING TRANSFER DOCUMENT TO
ANOTHER STATE, AND OTHER CLERICAL WORK NECESSARY IN
CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE. [The fee
for applying for certification will be ten dollars
($10.00). The fee for conducting written and oral
examination will be thirty dollars ($30.00). The fee for
a certificate will be ten dollars ($10.00). The fee for
renewal of certificate will be no more than ten dollars
($10.00) annually, as determined from time to time by the
Board. The fee for executing transfer documents to
another state will be five dollars ($5.00) to cover the
secretarial work involved.] All moneys collected under
this subtitle shall be paid over to the State Treasurer,
and shall become general funds of the State. [Such]
THESE moneys shall thereafter be disbursed by the
Comptroller only pursuant to an appropriation made in
accordance with §§ 32 and 52 of Article 3 of the
Constitution or pursuant to the provisions of §§ 1
through 15, inclusive, of Article 15A of this Code, title
"Budget and Procurement," as amended from time to time.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 634(d) be and it is hereby added to Article 43 —
Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) to read as
follows:

634.
(D) THE BOARD MAY ESTABLISH MANDATORY CONTINUING
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS CERTIFIED AND
REGISTERED IV THIS STATE AS A CONDITION TO THE RENEWAL OF
THEIR CERTIFICATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION. THE
AMOUNT AND TYPE OF CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
REQUIRED FOR AN ANNUAL RENEWAL IS DETERMINED BY THE BOARD
AND THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE STANDARD FOR ALL CERTIFIED
PSYCHOLOGISTS.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
