Psychologists' Certification - Certificates and Pees

FOR the purpose of removing the requirement that a
psychologist's certificate show the psychologist's
address; authorizing the State Board of Examiners of
Psychologists to establish mandatory continuing
education requirements for the renewal of a
psychologist's certificate; deleting certain maximum
and specified fees in the Psychologists'
Certification Act; authorizing the State Board of
Examiners of Psychologists to charge fees subject to
certain standards; clarifying language; and relating
generally to the certification of psychologists.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 634(a) and 638 of Article 43 -
Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and they are
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 43 - Health

634.

(a) The Board shall issue a certificate of
certification to each person whom it registers as a
psychologist. The certificate shall show the full name
of the psychologist, [his address,] date of issuance and
expiration, and bear a serial number. The certificate
shall be signed by the chairman and secretary of the
Board under the seal of the Board.

638.

[The fees] FEES charged by the Board [will in
general] SHALL reflect the magnitude of the Board's work
