AN ACT concerning

Trespass

FOR the purpose of providing certain penalties for the
crime of trespass; [[establishing procedures for
posting notice against trespass;]] and generally
relating to the crime of trespass.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments

Section 576

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 576 of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments

576.

[It shall be unlawful for any person to enter or
trespass] ANY PERSON WHO ENTERS OR TRESPASSES on any
property which is posted against trespassers in a
conspicuous manner[. Any person so doing shall be] IS
guilty of a misdemeanor and [upon] ON conviction [shall
pay a fine of not less than twenty—five dollars ($25.00)
