(9)   Any suit of proceeding involving the mental
condition of any person and the voluntary or involuntary
admission or detention of the person in any Veterans'
Administration hospital or in any facility licensed by or
under the jurisdiction of the Department of Health and
Rental Hygiene.

(10)   Any workmen's compensation case and any other
case or proceeding under Article 101 of the Code.

(11)  Any case in which a claim is grounded upon one
or more of the following:

(i) Assault, battery, negligence, false
imprisonment, or other tortious interference with the
person for which an action may be brought in a court of
the state.

(ii) Conversion of or trespass to land or chattels;

(iii) A tort based upon strict liability for which
an action may be brought in a court of the state;

(iv) Damages arising from or to abate a nuisance;

(v) Tortious deceit, misrepresentation, or fraud;

(vi) Defamation or invasion of privacy;

(vii) Malpractice;

(viii) Breach of warranty.

(12)  Any action to enjoin the sale, distribution,
showing or display of property alleged to be in violation
of the obscenity laws of the state.

(13)   Any action in which an appealable judgment or
decree has been entered by a court of equity.

(14)  Any proceeding for a declaratory judgment.

(15)  Any case over which an orphans' court has
original jurisdiction.

(16)   Any zoning case, and any matter arising under
Article 66B of this Code.

(17)   Any other action, case, cause, suit or
proceeding from which a right of appeal to the Court of
Special Appeals is granted by law.
