are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings
12-307.

[(a) In general. —]The Court of Appeals has:

(1)  Jurisdiction to review a case or proceeding
pending in or decided by the Court of Special Appeals in
accordance with Subtitle 2 of this title; and

(2)  Exclusive appellate jurisdiction with respect to
a question of law certified to it under the Uniform
Certification of Questions of Law Act.

[(b) Jurisdiction until January 1, 1975. —Until
January 1, 1975, the Court of Appeals also has exclusive
appellate jurisdiction to review any latter not within
the exclusive initial jurisdiction of the Court of
Special Appeals, if provision for appellate review is
made by law.]

12-308.

[(a) Jurisdiction until January 1, 1975. —Until
January 1, 1975, the Court of Special Appeals has
exclusive initial appellate jurisdiction over any appeal,
petition for certiorari, or other application for
appellate review from a final judgment or appealable
interlocutory judgment of a circuit court in any of the
following actions, cases, causes, suits, or proceedings
in which appellate review is made by law:

(1)  Any juvenile cause.

(2)  Any defective delinquent proceeding.

(3)  Any criminal case in which the sentence is other
than death.

(4)  Any case or proceeding involving the propriety
of the forfeiture of any bail bond or other recognizance.

(5)  Any post—conviction proceeding.

(6)   Any case or proceeding in which any application
for writ of habeas corpus has been granted or denied.

(7)  Any action or proceeding for contempt of court.

(8)   Any suit or proceeding concerning the propriety
of the granting or denial of any approval or license by
the Maryland State Board of Censors.
