retirement allowance [request] REQUESTS the return of his

No other provision of law in any other statute which
provides wholly or partly at the expense of the State of
Maryland for pensions or retirement benefits for
employees of the State, their [widows] SURVIVING SPOUSES,
or other dependents, [shall apply] APPLIES to members or
beneficiaries of the Retirement System established by
this subtitle, their [widows] SURVIVING SPOUSES or other
dependents.
SECTION [[8]] 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Section 4—706(b) of Article — Natural Resources, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

(b) A commercial net fishing license to set a gill
net may be transferred only to the [widow] SURVIVING
SPOUSE, father, brother, sister, son, or daughter of the
licensee or to any person who has earned a part of his
livelihood by fishing either for or with a licensee for
at least three months during the year immediately
preceding the transfer of the license as provided in
subsection (a) with the approval of the department.
SECTION [[9]] 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
this Act shall take effect July 1, 1975.
