THE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION ACT FORMING AN ASSOCIATION OR
LEAGUE, WHETHER INCORPORATED OR NOT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 11, §138.

A penalty provision is added since present
§138, which provides that a violation is a
"misdemeanor," does not prescribe any penalty.
This apparent oversight is corrected by
conforming the provisions of this section to
other similar provisions in this article
dealing with the improper use of reference;
see, e.g., §§1-404 and 5-532.

The only other changes are in style.

6-401. DEFINITIONS.

(A)   IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE
MEANINGS INDICATED.
