6-317. OFFICERS.

(A)   EXECUTIVE OFFICERS.

THE EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF A CREDIT UNION SHALL BE
ITS PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, AND TREASURER.

(B)   ELECTION BY BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

AT THE FIRST MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AFTER
THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS, THE BOARD SHALL ELECT
THE EXECUTIVE OFFICERS AND, IF THE BYLAWS PROVIDE, AN
ASSISTANT SECRETARY AND ASSISTANT TREASURER.

(C)   OFFICES OF SECRETARY AND TREASURER.

IF THE BYLAWS PROVIDE, ONE INDIVIDUAL MAY HOLD THE
OFFICES OF SECRETARY AND TREASURER.

(D)   PRESIDENT MEMBER OF CREDIT UNION.

THE PRESIDENT SHALL BE A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS.

(E)   TENURE.

EACH OFFICER HOLDS OFFICE FOR THE TIME WHICH THE
BYLAWS SPECIFY.

(F)   OATH OF OFFICE.

EACH OFFICER SHALL TAKE AN OATH TO PERFORM
FAITHFULLY EVERY DUTY OF HIS OFFICE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first four
sentences of Art. 11, §145 and from §114 as it
relates to officers.

The provisions of present §144, as they relate
to directors and committee members, are
included, respectively, in §§6—315 and 6—318.

The provisions of present §145 which relate to
the duties of the directors are included in
§6-316.
