AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws — Drivers' License Fees

FOR the purpose of clarifying an uncertainty in the law
relating to fees charged for drivers' licenses;
clarifying the language of that section; and
providing that this Act is an emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 6-111.1 of Article 66 1/2 -
Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed;

6-111.1.

[(a) A fee of ten dollars shall be paid to the
Administration at the time an application is submitted to
the Administration for an original license.

(b)   A fee of two dollars shall be paid for the
renewal of any classified license to a classified license
of the same class.

(c)  A fee of eight dollars shall be paid upon
completion of the required tests for a license of a
different class than currently held.

(d)  A fee of eight dollars shall be paid for the
issuance of an instruction and examination license. The
