FOR the purpose of making the provisions of the section
relating to false impersonation of officers and
members of various organizations applicable to both
fraternal and sororal societies.

BY repealing arid re—enacting, with amendments,

Section 181

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 181 of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments , of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments

181.

It shall be unlawful for any person to falsely
personate any officer or member of any military or
patriotic organizations or of any grand or subordinate
lodge or fraternal OR SORORAL society chartered or having
grand or subordinate lodge in this state.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
