has been a resident of the State for at least one year.
[The seller and purchaser shall appear before the
Department and make oath to every fact contained in the
license application.] THE PURCHASER AND THE SELLER SHALL
CERTIFY ON THE APPLICATION TO TRANSFER A DREDGE BOAT
LICENSE THAT THE STATEMENTS MADE BY HIM IN THE
APPLICATION ARE TRUE. The purchaser shall pay the
Department a $5 TRANSFER fee for the dredging license,
and the Department shall certify on the license that the
fee is paid. Upon completing these procedures, the
purchaser is entitled to the same privileges to catch
oysters as the original owner had before the transfer.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

Clams by Shinnecock Rake
FOR the purpose of requiring every applicant for a
license for catching hard—shell clams by shinnecock
rake in Worcester County to certify, instead of make
oath, that certain facts are true.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4-1024(b) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume
and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
