AN ACT concerning

Oysters — Dredging License

FOR the purpose of eliminating the requirement that the
seller and purchaser of a licensed dredge boat must
personally appear before the Department of Natural
Resources and make oath to every fact contained in
the application to transfer a dredge boat license;
requiring the seller and purchaser of a licensed
dredge boat to certify on the application to
transfer the dredge boat license that the statements
made by him in the application are true; and
requiring a transfer fee.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4-1014 of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume
and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Natural Resources

4-1014.

A licensed dredge boat owner may sell and convey by
bill of sale for bona fide consideration the boat to any
person who has been a resident of this State for at least
one year, and transfer the license to the same person who
