(House Bill 114)

AN ACT concerning

Boat Dealers and Manufacturers

FOR the purpose of requiring an applicant for a boat
dealer's or manufacturer's license to file a bond or
other security approved by the Department of Natural
Resources; providing the purpose of the bond;
providing for the suspension of a boat dealer's or
manufacturer's license if the bond is not extended
upon expiration; and requiring a licensee to report
changes in factual information contained on the
application for a boat dealer's or manufacturer's
license.

Section 8-710(e) and 8-710.1
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 8-710(e) and 8-710.1 be and
they are hereby added to Article — Natural Resources, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) to read as follows:

(E)        IF, DURING THE PERIOD FOR WHICH A DEALER'S OR

MANUFACTURER'S LICENSE IS ISSUED, THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN
THE FACTUAL INFORMATION FURNISHED TO THE DEPARTMENT BY
THE LICENSEE IN CONNECTION WITH OBTAINING OR RETAINING
THE LICENSE, OR A RENEWAL OF IT, THE CHANGE SHALL BE
TRULY, FULLY, AND PROMPTLY COMMUNICATED TO THE DEPARTMENT
IN WRITING ON FORMS PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENT. THE
APPLICANT SHALL SIGN THE FORM AND CERTIFY THAT THE
INFORMATION GIVEN IS TRUE AND CORRECT.
