(2)    A person may possess the meat of muskrat
or otter no more than ten days after the close of open
season for these manuals in order to dispose of the meat
for food. However, a person may apply for a permit to
store the meat during the closed season if the meat was
hunted lawfully.

(3)    A muskrat damaging any embankment or
impoundment may be destroyed by the owner at any time.

(4)    A PERSON MAY HUNT OR TRAP AND POSSESS
THE PELT OR MEAT OF RACCOON OR OPOSSUM DURING THOSE
PERIODS AND UNDER THE RESTRICTIONS, INCLUDING BAG LIMITS,
THE DEPARTMENT MAY ESTABLISH BY RULE OR REGULATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 8-106 (a-3) and 9-202(c)(1) of
Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
