Section 44 and the subtitle "Violations of the
Building and Electrical Code of Baltimore City"
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1972 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 44 and the subtitle "Violations of
the Building and Electrical Code of Baltimore City" of
Article 53 — Landlord and Tenant, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)
be and they are hereby repealed:

Article 53 — Landlord and Tenant

[Violations of the Building and Electrical
Code of Baltimore City]

From and after July 1, 1973, violations of the
Building and Electrical Code of the Baltimore City Code,
Article 32 (1966 Edition), are to be actions at law.
Jurisdiction in all cases of violations of the Building
and Electrical Code shall be vested in the District Court
of Baltimore City having civil jurisdiction.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
