AN ACT concerning

Harford County — Compensation of Bailiffs

FOR the purpose of clarifying and changing the limitation
on the amount of compensation for a bailiff in the
Circuit Court in Harford County.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 2-506(a)(13) of Article - Courts
and Judicial Proceedings, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1974 Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

2-506.

(a) A bailiff shall receive the compensation
provided in this section. Unless otherwise provided, the
amount is a per diem sum for each day he attends the
circuit court.

(13) Harford County — As set by the court (but not
more than $2,500 per year for all bailiffs].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
