SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 22 of Article 25 - County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 25 — County Commissioners
22.

They may levy and appropriate such sums of money as
they may, in their discretion, think proper for the
purpose of cooperating with and assisting the work of the
soil conservation districts organized in their respective
counties under [Article 66C of the Annotated Code of
Maryland] TITLE 8 OF THE AGRICULTURE ARTICLE OF THE CODE.
They may make such agreements for the use of any money
appropriated for any soil conservation district as they
may deem advisable or necessary.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
17 of Article 26A - Criminal Injuries Compensation Act,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement
Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
