SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 576, 582 and 588 of Article 27 -
Crimes and Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments
576.
It shall be unlawful for any person to enter or
trespass on any property which is posted against
trespassers in a conspicuous manner. Any person so doing
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
shall pay a fine of not less than twenty—five dollars
($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and
the costs; the prosecution of such offenders shall be
made and proceedings instituted by the landowner or
tenant of the property unlawfully entered. Any person
convicted under the provision of this section who at the
time of said conviction is the holder of a license for
hunting any wild bird or animal under the provisions of
[Article 66C,] TITLE 10 OF THE NATURAL RESOURCES ARTICLE
OF THE CODE, shall have his license revoked immediately
upon conviction for a period of one year. Any person who
is not the holder of such a license shall not be issued a
license until one year after any conviction under the
provisions of this section.
582.
Every person, his aiders, abettors and counsellors,
who shall use or operate any boat or vessel on the
navigable waters of this State while the boat's number or
name, or home port designation, as assigned by the United
States Coast Guard, or registered in any United states
customshouse shall knowingly be concealed, covered or
defaced shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than $150.00
nor more than $500.00, or be imprisoned in the Maryland
House of Correction, for not less than one month nor more
than six months, or be both fined and imprisoned, in the
discretion of the court; and in addition thereto any boat
used in violation of the provisions of this section may
be by the court hearing the case involving such
violation, declared forfeited to the state of Maryland
and delivered to the Department of Tidewater Fisheries
for such disposition thereof as may, in the opinion of
said Department, be most advantageous to the State. The
