court. Each associate judge shall receive as his sole
compensation, with no additional allowance for expenses,
the sum of [$17] $22.50 for every day's - attendance upon
the sessions of the court.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of this Act shall not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary of the judges of the court in Kent
County in office on the effective date of this Act, but
the provisions of this Act concerning the salary of the
judges of the court in Kent County shall take affect at
the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Annotated Coda of Maryland (1974 Volume) be and they are
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
