Article 23 - Corporations, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be
and they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Article 23 — Corporations
161NN.

(b)    In furtherance of said purposes, the
Corporation has the following powers:

(i) To provide for the liquidity of member
associations through the creation of a central reserve

fund for the purpose of making loans to member

associations. THE CENTRAL RESERVE FUND SHALL NOT BE

SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF INSURANCE CLAIMS AGAINST THE

CORPORATION BY MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS OR THEIR FREE
SHAREHOLDERS, OR OTHERWISE.

(c)    The earnings shall be accumulated by the
Corporation, and no part thereof shall be returned to the
member associations'. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION
(C) SHALL NOT PROHIBIT THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST BY THE
CORPORATION TO MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS WHICH HAVE BADE
DEPOSITS, LOANS OR ADVANCES TO THE CENTRAL RESERVE FUND.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Migratory Waterfowl Stamp — Propagation
of Mallard or other Ducks

FOR the purpose of requiring purchase of a Maryland
Migratory Waterfowl Stamp before hunting migratory
waterfowl; establishing fees for issuance of the
stamp; and providing that the net proceeds from
sales of the stamp be expended solely for the
propagation or purchase, and distribution, of
mallard or other ducks.
