AN ACT concerning

Frederick County — Bailiffs

FOR the purpose of providing that bailiffs in Frederick
County shall be paid a compensation as set by the
County Commissioners of that County.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 2-506 of Article - Courts and
Judicial Proceedings, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1973 Volume) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings
2-506.

(a) A bailiff shall receive the compensation
provided in this section. Unless otherwise provided, the
amount is a per diem sum for each day he attends the
Circuit court.

(1)  Allegany County—$5.

(2)  Anne Arundel County—$15.

(3)  Baltimore City—-as set by the city government.
