AN ACT concerning

Dorchester County — Fire Companies

FOR the purpose of repealing certain unnecessary and
obsolete local laws of Dorchester County relating to
payments to the several volunteer fire companies
therein and to the conditions applying to these
payments.

By repealing

The Public Local Laws of Dorchester County
Sections 263, 264, and 265
Article 10 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1961 Edition)

Preamble

WHEREAS, in Section 3(w) of Article 25 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, there are provisions for a
contribution by the County Commissioners to the several
volunteer fire departments in the county, these
provisions making unnecessary and obsolete the laws on
this subject contained within the county code of public
local laws; now, therefore.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That Sections 263, 264, and 265 of the Public
Local Laws of Dorchester County being Article 10 of the

Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1961 Edition) be
and they are hereby repealed:
