Art. 36, §16 of the Code. It is recommended
to be added as a new section to Title 13 for
organizational purposes.

Existing subsections (d), (e), (f) , and (h)
are proposed for deletion on the
recommendation of the Archivist of the Hall of
Records. The fees in subsections (d), (e) ,
and (f) are insignificant in amount in
comparison to the effort and costs involved in
collecting and recording them. These are not
currently collected. The fee in subsection
(h) is proposed for deletion because persons
who abandon a proceeding refuse to pay this
fee and it is too small an amount for which to
institute a collection proceeding.

The only other changes are in style.
GENERAL REVISORS NOTE:

The Commission to Revise the Annotated Code, in
compiling Title 13 of the Real Property Article,
concluded that certain provisions of present law
allocated to Title 13 are unnecessary and repetitious.
Accordingly, these provisions are not embodied in Title
13. Their proposed treatment is as follows:

DEVISE, DISPOSE OF, OR OTHERWISE DEAL WITH PROPERTY IN
THE SAKE MANNER AS IF HE HAD BEEN A CITIZEN OF THE STATE
BY BIRTH.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 21, §14-101. The federal Alien Property
Custodian Act defines which alien enemies are
excluded from this provision. The only
changes are in style.
