Chapter 9
AN ACT to amend Chapter 23, title "Solicitors, hawkers
and peddlers," of the Montgomery County Code 1965,
as amended, by repealing and re—enacting, with
amendments. Section 23—3, title "Same - Penalty for
violation of regulations," to provide a penalty for
violation of regulations not to exceed a fine of one
hundred dollars or imprisonment for not more than
six months or both.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOP MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, that -
Sec. 1. Section 23-3, Chapter 23, title
"Solicitors, hawkers and peddlers," of the Montgomery
County Code 1965, is hereby replaced and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
23—3. Same — Penalty for violation of regulations.
Any person who violates the provisions of any
ordinance adopted pursuant to the provisions of the two
preceding sections shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction therefor shall be punished by a fine not
to exceed one hundred dollars or imprisonment for not
more than six months or both.
Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect on the 76th day
following the date on which it becomes law.

Chapter 10
AN ACT to amend Chapter 23, title "Solicitors, hawkers
and peddlers," of the Montgomery County Code 1965,
by repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
Section 23—5, title "Same—License fee; license
year," to provide that the license year shall begin
on June 1, and end on May 31 of each year.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR MONTGOMERY
COUNTY, MARYLAND, that -
