(95)   Firefighter Lieutenant

Graduation from a recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test with a minimum requirement of
twenty-six (26) years of age. Must have successfully
completed (8) years of paid firefighter service
experience. Satisfactorily completed firefighting,
ambulance and rescue training as prescribed by the Fire
Advisory Board and have successfully completed twelve
(12) college semester hours in fire technology course
work. Special requirement: possession of Maryland Class
"B" driver's license. MOST HAVE SERVED SATISFACTORILY
FOR A PERIOD OF NOT LESS THAN ONE (1) YEAR IN THE NEXT
LOWER GRADE OF RESPONSIBILITY OR COMPARABLE LEVEL OF
RESPONSIBILITY, OR ANY EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

(96)   Firefighter Captain

Graduation from recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test with a minimum requirement of
twenty—eight (28) years of age. Must have successfully
completed ten (10) years of paid firefighter service
experience of which two (2) years were served as a
Howard County Fire Service Lieutenant and must have
successfully completed thirty (30) semester hours in fire
technology course work. Special requirements:
Possession of Maryland Class "B" driver's license. MUST
HAVE SERVED SATISFACTORILY FOR A PERIOD OF NOT LESS THAN
ONE (1) YEAR IN THE NEXT LOWER GRADE OF RESPONSIBILITY OR
COMPARABLE LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY, OR ANY EQUIVALENT
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE,,

(97)   Custodian

Preferably some building cleaning experience
and sufficient education to be able to read and write.

(98)   Senior Custodian

Preferably some building cleaning experience
and sufficient education to read and write. (A driver's
license might be required.)

(99)   Custodial Foreman
