one (1) year of of which must have been at the level of
Engineer IV, Bureau of Engineering; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements; Possession of or
eligibility for a Professional Engineering License.
(59) Chief, Bureau of Engineering
Graduation from a university or college of
recognized standing with major work in Engineering and
seven (7) years of professional engineering experience,
two (2) years of which must have been at the level of
Deputy Chief, Bureau of Engineering, or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements:: Possession of or
eligibility for a Professional Engineer's License.
(59a) Public Works Inspector I
Assigned as water and/or sewer Utilities
Inspector. Graduation from a recognized high school,
preferably with courses in mathematics; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience.
(59b) Public Works Inspector II
Assigned as water and/or sewer Utilities
Inspector. Graduation from a recognized high school,
preferably with courses in mathmatics and one (1) year
experience on the level of Engineering Aide I; or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.
(59c) Public Works Inspector III
Assigned as water and/or sewer Utilities
Inspector. Graduation from a recognized high school, (or
high school Equivalent Certificate), preferably with
courses in drafting and mathematics plus three (3) years
experience in inspection of water and/or sewer
facilities, one (1) year experience at the level of
Engineering Aide II; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience.
(59d) Public Works Inspector IV
Assigned as water and/or sewer Utilities
Inspector. Graduation from high school or technical
school; preferably with courses in drafting and
mathematics; plus five (5) years experience in inspection
of water and/or sewer facilities and related functions,
