SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE COUNTY
COUNCIL OF HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND that this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1973.

This Bill, having been approved by the Executive and
returned to the Council, stand enacted on Hay 15, 1973.

Council Bill No. 22

AN ACT to add Section 20.302A to the Howard County Code,
title 20 "Taxation and Public Credit," subtitle 1
"Assessment, Levy and Tax Bills" Section to provide
for the annual review and adoption of water and
sewer rates, charges, fees and assessments by
Resolution of the County Council.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 20.302A be and the
same is hereby added to Title 20 of the Howard County
Code, titled "Taxation and Public Credit," subtitle
"Assessment, Levy and Tax Bills," to read as follows:

20.302A ADOPTION OF WATER AND SEWER RATES, CHARGES, FEES
AND ASSESSMENTS BY COUNTY COUNCIL RESOLUTION.

THE WATER AND SEWER RATES, CHARGES, FEES AND
ASSESSMENTS ESTABLISHED BY SECTIONS 20.302, 20.305,
20.306, 20.309 AND 20.311 SHALL BE ANNUALLY REVIEWED AND
ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL AT THE TIME
OF ADOPTION OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION
ORDINANCE OF HOWARD COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE COUNTY
COUNCIL OF HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND that this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1973.

This Bill, having been approved by the Executive and
returned to the Council, stands enacted on May 15, 1973.
