(E)    "FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE" MEANS A GRANT,
LOAN, OR CONTRIBUTION PROVIDED BY THE UNITED STATES TO
THE STATE OR ANY OF ITS POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OR
AGENCIES.

(F)    "MORTGAGE" MEANS THE CLASS OF LIENS COMMONLY
GIVEN TO SECURE ADVANCES ON, OR THE UNPAID PURCHASE PRICE
OF LAND TOGETHER WITH ANY CREDIT INSTRUMENT SECURED BY
THE LAND.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 21, §12-201(g) of the Code. The present
reference to "real property" is proposed for
deletion and "land" is substituted for the
reasons explained in the revisor's note to
§12—201(b). The present reference to the
"laws of the State" is proposed for deletion
as superfluous. The phrase "in which the real
property is located" modifying the state is
proposed for deletion as unnecessary since
this title is applicable only in Maryland.

PRIVATE UTILITY COMPANY, RAILROAD, OR OTHER ORGANIZATION

THROUGH THE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN OR BY NEGOTIATION.

BALTIMORE, ANNE ARUNDEL, AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES, THE
BOARD OF EDUCATION OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY, THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF MONTGOMERY COLLEGE OR ANY BOARD OR AGENCY OF
