COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That upon the
adoption of additional sections of this Subtitle, the
Articles, Headings, Subsections or Sections of this
ordinance may be re—numbered or rearranged to establish
an orderly numbering system for the entire Subtitle, and
to correct cross—references (provided that no changes
other than typographical corrections may be made to the
language or substance thereof).

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance
and necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, health, safety, welfare and property, and
being passed by the affirmative vote of five (5) members
of the County Council, the same shall take effect from
the date it becomes law.

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments. Section 1—200.1 (a)(1) and (2) of the
Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements) , Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article I, "Exempt Service", to create
the new positions of Probation Officer and
Secretary, States Attorney, to change the pay grade
for the position of Records Management Specialist,
and matters generally related thereto.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-200.1 (a) (1)
and (2) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1567 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article I, "Exempt Service", be, and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
