29.9567 acres of land, more or less.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the
effective date of this Resolution all persons residing in
the area to be annexed, and the property therein, shall
be and become residents of and property within The Town
of Union Bridge and subject to the provisions of the
Charter and Ordinances of The Town of Union Bridge.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of Union
Bridge shall cause a copy of this Resolution to be
published not fewer than four (4) times at not less than
weekly intervals in a newspaper of general circulation in
The Town of Union Bridge, together with a public notice
that shall specify a time and place at which a public
hearing will be held by the Mayor and Council upon the
Resolution, which hearing shall be set for not less than
fifteen (15) days after the fourth publication of the
notices and to be held at the municipal offices of the
Town.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution
shall become effective on the forty—sixth day following
its enactment.

RESOLUTION of the Council of the Town of
Williamsport, Maryland, adopted pursuant to Article XI—E,
Section 4, of the Constitution of the State of Maryland,
labelled and entitled "Municipal Corporations, Procedure
for Adoption, Amendment or Repeal of Charters"; and
pursuant to Article 23A of the Annotated Code of the
Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled Corporations -
Municipal, Charter Amendments as said said sections were
enacted by Chapter 423 of the Laws of Maryland, 1955, and
subsequent amendments thereto; to amend the now existing
Section 25 of the Corporate Charter of the Town of
Williamsport as adopted July 8, 1957, and subsequently
