MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

of New Carrollton to include certain parcels of the
hereinafter described area and to make applicable to that
area all Laws of the State of Maryland applicable to the
City of New Carrollton and all ordinances of the City of
New Carrollton which are now in force or may hereafter be
enacted.

SECTION 1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND
ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF NEW CARROLLTON that there
is hereby annexed to the territory of the City of New
Carrollton all of the land in Prince George's County,
Maryland adjacent to the City of New Carrollton and
described as follows:

Being a part of Lot 7, Block D as shown on a plat of
subdivision entitled "Wildercroft" and recorded among the
Land Records of Prince George's County, Maryland in Plat
Book RNR-2, Plat No. 11 and being more particularly
described as follows:

Beginning for the same at a point in the easterly
line of Chestnut Avenue, said beginning point marking the
common front corner of said Lot 7 and Parcel A as shown
on a plat of subdivision entitled "Parcel A, New
Carrollton Local Park" and recorded among the Land
Records of Prince George's County, Maryland in Plat Book
WWW 78, Plat No. 25 and running thence with said easterly
line. (1) North 14° 36' 04" East 88.00 feet to a point;
thence crossing said Lot 7. (2) South 76° 52' 54" East
420.21 feet to a point in the westerly or North 05° 371
51" West, 657.68 Foot line as shown on a plat of
subdivision entitled "Section Two, Oakwood Knolls" and
recorded among the aforesaid Land Records in Plat Book
WWW 42, Plat No. 56, said point also being in the twelfth
or North 04° 40" West, 655.75 foot line of the
description of the second 1961 annexation to the
corporate limits and boundaries of the City of New
Carrollton; thence reversely with a part of said westerly
line and a part of said twelfth line. (3) South 04° 40'
00" East 92.39 feet to a point marking the common rear
corner of said Lot 7 and said Parcel A, New Carrollton
Local Park; thence with the division line between said
Lot 7 and said Parcel A. (4) North 76° 52' 54" West
450.71 feet to the place of beginning containing 38,308
square feet or 0.87943 of an acre of land.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDAINED,
that except as hereinafter otherwise provided, all the
provisions of the Constitution of Maryland, all laws of
the State of Maryland applicable to the City of New
Carrollton which now are in force or may hereafter be
enacted, and all the existing ordinances of the City of
New Carrollton, shall be and the same are hereby extended
and made applicable to such portion of Prince George's
