RESOLUTION
CHARTER AMENDMENT
A Resolution to change Section 14 of the Charter of
the Town of Indian Head, Maryland (1963 Edition), title
"Registration, Nominations and Elections," subtitle
"voters," for the purpose of lowering the age limit of a
qualified voter.
SECTION 14. (Voters.) Every person who (a) is a
citizen of the United States, (b) IS AT LEAST EIGHTEEN
YEARS OF AGE, (c) has resided in the State of Maryland
for at least one year next preceding any Town election,
(d) has resided within the corporate limits of the Town
for six months next preceding any Town election, and (e)
is registered in accordance with the provisions of this
Charter, shall be a qualified voter of the Town. Every
qualified voter of the Town shall be entitled to vote at
any or all Town elections.
Effective date: 24th day of May, 1972.
