MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

Beginning for the same at a Concrete Monument set at
Maryland State Coordinate X 1,152,249.73 feet Y
319,142.92 feet, said Point being also the northeasterly
corner of the original mile square limit of the Town of
Federalsburg, as laid out by J. Walter Noble in the year
1902, and recorded in Liber L.B.T. No. 84, Folio 101, in
the Land Record Books of Caroline County, Maryland, and
from said Place of Beginning running thence (1) South 13
degrees 39 minutes 34 seconds East 2272.00 feet to a
Concrete Monument on the southerly side of Houston Branch
Road (Maryland Highway No. 306); thence (2) South 34
degrees 15 minutes 54 seconds East 440.10 feet to a
Concrete Monument; thence (3) South 13 degrees 44 minutes
06 seconds West 259.45 feet to a Concrete Monument on the
northerly shore of Lake Chambers in the Ada Elliott
Chambers Memorial Park; thence (4) by and with the
northerly shore of the said Lake Chambers and the
centerline of a Stream entering said Lake and the many
meanderings thereof, in a northeasterly direction, to a
Point opposite a Concrete Monument; thence (5) South 02
degrees 21 minutes 11 seconds East 25 feet, more or less,
to a Concrete Monument, said last mentioned Concrete
Monument bears North 59 degrees 04 minutes 22 seconds
East 861.27 feet from the end of the 3rd Course; thence

(6)   by and with the easterly side of the said Chambers
Park, continuing South 02 degrees 21 minutes 11 seconds
Fast 1268.50 feet to a Concrete Monument on the northerly
side of Liberty Road (Maryland Highway No. 318); thence

(7)  by and with the northerly side of the said Liberty
Road, South 86 degrees 46 minutes 36 seconds West 619.29
feet to a Concrete Monument; thence (8) crossing the said
Liberty Road, South 13 degrees 39 minutes 34 seconds East
170.10 feet to a Steel Pin; thence (9) North 86 degrees
46 minutes 36 seconds East 318.40 feet to a Steel Pin;
thence (10) North 03 degrees 03 minutes 00 seconds West
120.00 feet to a Steel Pin on the southerly side of the
aforementioned Liberty Road; thence by and with the
southerly side of the said Liberty Road the following two
courses and distances: (11) North 86 degrees 46 minutes
36 seconds East 538.00 feet to a Steel Pin; thence (12)
North 83 degrees 46 minutes 46 seconds East 233.00 feet
to a Steel Pin; thence (13) South 63 degrees 58 minutes
24 seconds East 609.00 feet to a Steel Pin; thence (14)
South 26 degrees 01 minutes 36 seconds West 1169.00 feet
to a Steel Pin and the northeasterly side of the
Cambridge Branch of the Penn Central Railroad Company
Right—of—way; thence by and with the northeasterly side
of the said Railroad Company Right—of—way the following
three courses and distances: (15) North 56 degrees 13
minutes 00 seconds West 1024.00 feet; thence (16) by and
with the arc of a curve, deflecting to the left, the
chord of which bears North 59 degrees 28 minutes 00
seconds West 165.00 feet to where formerly stood a
Concrete Monument; thence (17) by and with the arc of a
