MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

re—enacted to read as follows:

52. Salary. Each Town Commissioner shall
receive a salary of [Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars
per annum] TWELVE DOLLARS ($12.00) PER MEETING, of
which the sum of [One Hundred Fifty Dollars
($150.00)] SIX ($6.00) DOLLARS, shall be payable out
of the General Funds of the Town and [One Hundred
Fifty ($150.00) Dollars] SIX ($6.00) DOLLARS, shall
be payable out of the funds of the Electric Plant
Department. But in the event the Electric Plant
shall ever be sold or leased as provided in Section
107, then the salaries of the Town Commissioners
shall be paid out of the General Funds of the Town.

SECTION 2: AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this
Resolution shall take effect this 6th day of December,
1973.

CHEVERLY
(Prince George's County)

Resolution for Annexation to the Corporate
Boundaries of Cheverly, Maryland

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council of Cheverly,
Maryland, have received a petition for the incorporation
of the hereinafter described tract of ground within the
boundaries of Cheverly, Maryland; and,

WHEREAS, The Mayor of the Town of Cheverly,
Maryland, has caused a verification to be made of the
signatures on the aforesaid petition and it has been
ascertained that the persons signing the said petition
represent at least twenty—five per centum (25%) of the
persons who reside in the area to be annexed and who are
registered as voters in county elections in the precinct,
or precincts, in which the territory to be annexed is
located and the owners of twenty—five per centum (25%) of
the assessed valuation of the real property located in
the area to be annexed; and,

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council of Cheverly,
Maryland, are of the considered opinion that it would be
to the best interest of the Town of Cheverly, Maryland,
to annex the hereinafter described tract of ground;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY THE
