finance the construction of public school buildings and
public capital improvements in this State.

House Bill 1443, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 30, 1974, accomplishes
the same purpose as Senate Bill 871.

Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 871.

Senate Bill No. 882 — Cecil County Code Corrections
AN ACT concerning

FOR the purpose of amending and correcting certain
obsolete sections of the Public Local Laws of Cecil
County and repealing other sections which are
inconsistent with current State laws and practices.

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17, of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill
882.

This bill corrects certain obsolete provisions of
the Public Local Laws of Cecil County, by repealing
Sections 33-5 and 3—4 through 3-9, and by repealing and
re—enacting, with amendments, Section 3—3(b) and 10-4
thereof.

House Bill 1133, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 9, 1974, repeals all
of Sections 3-3 through 3-10 of the Public Local Laws of
Cecil County and by enacting a new Section 3—3, creates a
Family Support Division for the County.
