SUCCESSFUL, SHALL ALSO BE ENTITLED TO THE COSTS OF THE
ACTION INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO REASONABLE ATTORNEY'S
FEES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held invalid for any reason,
the invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or
any other application of this Act which can be given
effect without the invalid provisions or application, and
to this end all the provisions of this Act are declared
to be severable.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Calvert County — State's Attorney

FOR the purpose of setting the salary of the State's
Attorney of Calvert County and specifying that the
salary increase for which provision is made by this
Act does not affect the incumbent.

MARYLAND, That Section 40(e) of Article 10 - Attorneys  at

Law and Attorneys in Fact, of the Annotated Code   of

Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)   be
and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
